    WHAT HAPPENED?

Kaizer Chiefs and Cape Town City played to a goalless draw in the Premier Soccer League game staged at the FNB Stadium on Wednesday night.

The hosts had massive chances to get goals, but Mduduzi Shabalala, Glody Lilepo, Ashley du Preez and Pule Mmodi - among others- didn't take their chances.

It was a situation that did not impress coach Nasreddine Nabi since it cost his team maximum points.

    'WE LOSE TOO MANY POINTS'

“The game is finished, we need more responsibility from our players, from our staff, more responsibility for Kaizer Chiefs,” the frustrated former Young Africans SC coach stated.

“We are in this position because we lose too many points like that. We control the game, we create chances, but don’t score.

“In those moments you need to be clinical. Come on, it’s Kaizer Chiefs. It’s not possible [to miss those chances], it’s Kaizer Chiefs."

'NO GAME IS EASY, SACRIFICE FOR CHIEFS'

“I say, ok, we lose the points today, but we have a game on the weekend. We need three points this week, but it’s never easy. No game is easy, all the teams play like that," Nabi added.

“Maybe another team with more quality attacks [more]. We need more, we need more. Every player must remember it’s a big responsibility to play for Kaizer Chiefs.

“If we give him five minutes, if we give him 10 minutes, he must sacrifice himself on the pitch," he concluded.

    WHAT NEXT?

With just nine games left for the Glamour Boys to conclude the season, they have to collect as many points as possible to avoid another embarrassing out-of-the-top-eight finish.

They have to give their best on Sunday when they play struggling Richards Bay in another PSL outing.
