Portugal was among the 32 teams that played in the 2010 Fifa World Cup, which was played in South Africa.
It was the first time the prestigious global competition was held in Africa.
Current Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim was part of the Portugal squad in Mzansi, and the 40-year-old recalls the good moments.

“I remember the sound of vuvuzelas was amazing, it was hard sometimes to speak in the stadium, but you guys have a very beautiful country,” Amorim told In The Premier League Chair.
“I remember Cape Town was a really good city, a really nice city, and it was a good moment in my career.”

Since 2010, no other African country has been handed the privilege to host the Fifa World Cup.
However, in 2030, the continent will have another opportunity to host the best in the World.
North African nation Morocco will co-host the competition alongside Spain and Portugal.
