    Aubrey Modiba (7.5/10) 

    Modiba thrived in a more advanced role upfront, constantly pushing forward and offering width in attack.

    Tashreeq Matthews (6.5/10) 

    A decent outing from Matthews, who showed flashes of creativity and looked lively in pockets of space. However, he struggled to make a consistent impact and was eventually substituted off.

    Teboho Mokoena (8/10) 

    A standout performance from Mokoena in the heart of midfield. He dictated the tempo with confidence, broke up play effectively and capped it off with his shot that led to the own goal from captain Simphiwe Mcineka.   

    Marcelo Allende (8/10) 

    Allende was at the heart of Sundowns’ attacking rhythm - sharp on the ball, intelligent with his movement and delivered the corner that led to the opener. A composed and influential display from the Chilean.

    Themba Zwane (7/10) 

    Zwane showed flashes of his usual creativity and experience, contributing steadily throughout the match. While not at his absolute best, his vision and control helped maintain rhythm in the attacking midfield role.

    Offered a steady presence when called upon, but struggled to make a significant impact in the limited time.

    Mabena was the standout among the substitutes, injecting pace and creativity that immediately lifted the team. His directness and confidence made him a real attacking threat with a goal to add to his name.

    The former Stellenbosch player made his debut and will be looking for an opportunity for more game time as the games come by.

    Brought some composure and control after coming on, helping to settle the midfield and link play.

    Cardoso’s tactical setup and in-game adjustments were effective, keeping his team organized and competitive.
