    Santos on debut

"Mixed feelings, because I wanted to start with a win; unfortunately, we couldn’t do it, but at the same time," he said, as per iDiski Times.

"Happy with my debut here, very proud of the team. We tried the 90 minutes to get three points; sadly, we couldn’t do it. We will try again in the next game."

"Very physical game, emotional game as well, quality as well, moments of the game where the team played very well – and yeah, very happy," he added.

    Promise to Masandawana fans

The attacking midfielder also described what kind of player he is and promised that he will work hard and give the fans and the team joy.

"I’m a guy that gives it all, always trying to assist my teammates collectively. Always thinking about the team and not myself," Santos explained.

“I’m really happy to be here. I felt huge support from the fans. Obviously, it was very difficult from Portugal, but very good at the same time. I want to thank the team for how they welcomed me. I feel very good here – I hope to give joy to the team and to the fans.”

    Richards Bay test awaits Masandawana

After falling to Arrows, Santos and Sundowns must dust themselves off and fully focus on their next assignment.

The PSL defending champions are scheduled to meet Richards Bay on September 27 and anything other than a full collection of three points will give their title rivals hope that this is the season the 8-in-a-row champions will be toppled.
