    SuperSport United have confirmed the arrival of Ethiopia international Abubeker Nasir from Mamelodi Sundowns.

    The attacker has struggled for game-time at Masandawana owing to injuries and despite his good showings in pre-season, the technical team felt the 24-year-old needed a place where he can play regularly to get his form back.

    Nasir might make his SuperSport debut on Saturday against improved Kaizer Chiefs. The skillful player scored against Amakhosi during his debut season in Mamelodi Sundowns' 4-0 win on August 13, 2022.

    The Swanky Boys have not started the season well; they have managed just one win in five outings, three losses, and a draw.

    It will be vital for them to try and get a positive result at the Peter Mokaba Stadium this weekend.
