The two South African heavyweights met at the Orlando Stadium this weeekend hoping to get a positive result in their bid to stand a chance of winning the annual competition.

Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates played to a 1-1 draw on Saturday in the sold-out first leg of the MTN8 semi-final fixture.

It was Teboho Mokoena who opened the scoring in favour of the visitors before the defending champions responded late in the game, courtesy of Kamogelo Sebelebele. 

Fans had different reactions to the draw at the Orlando Stadium.
