    WHAT HAPPENED?

Kaizer Chiefs required an added-time equalizer to avoid a loss to TS Galaxy at Mbombela Stadium on Monday afternoon.

Amakhosi, winless in their previous three games, were heading for defeat before Ranga Chivaviro’s crucial goal salvaged a point.

After the match, Tunisian coach Nasreddine Nabi expressed his frustration about missed opportunities and lack of scoring.

He emphasized that the team is not performing at the level expected of a club like Chiefs.

Their inability to capitalize on chances is costing them crucial points in the league and that has Chiefs fans growing concerned with their lack of form heading into the festive period.

    WHAT NABI SAID

"We feel that we didn’t start well. The first 15-20 minutes, we were losing every ball, easy passes were lost, and all the duels were won by the opponent, which was very difficult for us."

"We tried to make, around the 20-25th minute, a tactical adjustment, a slight change. Then we came back really good, but we conceded goals on set pieces, where we felt we were starting to come back into the game with more control and commitment," said Nasreddine Nabi after the game.

"In the second half, we tried to push forward. Again, we were missing opportunities to score."

"At the end, we tried everything to put more power and more risk forward."

"Fortunately, we got the point, but we feel that we are very, very far from the level of a team like Kaizer Chiefs."

"We need to work hard, we need to strengthen the team, but we’re going to do everything we can for the future games," he concluded

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Chiefs are now outside the top eight and struggling to turn their poor form around. They have not won a match since beating a struggling Richards Bay on November 27.

With only one match remaining before the end of the year, they must secure maximum points to avoid further slippage.

The team's attacking inefficiencies are leaving them with little margin for error. Chiefs need to reignite their season before it spirals further out of control.

    WHAT NEXT FOR CHIEFS?

Nasreddine Nabi and Kaizer Chiefs face a critical test as they host Chippa United next.

Chilli Boys, under coach Kwanele Kopo, have been performing well and currently sit two points ahead of Amakhosi.

A win is crucial for Chiefs to close the gap and restore confidence within the squad and the fanbase.

Nabi’s team must focus on converting chances and staying solid defensively to get the result.

This matchup could determine whether Amakhosi end the year on a positive note or continue their downward trajectory.
