    WHAT HAPPENED?

Following their ninth-place finish in the Premier Soccer League, Kaizer Chiefs promised some great signings for the new campaign.

So far, they have confirmed six players who the management feels have what it takes to deliver domestically and abroad.

By winning the Nedbank Cup, Amakhosi secured their Caf Confederation Cup ticket.

  • THE BIGGER PICTURE

Paseka Mako and Siphesihle Ndlovu were the only two new players who didn't take part in the just-concluded pre-season in the Netherlands.

Some, like Flavio Silva, did not impress, which puts him under pressure because the Glamour Boys want a striker who can get goals regularly.

It explains why the club's supporters are happy that the management, through their Marketing Director Jessica Motaung, confirmed more players are on the way.

As GOAL reported, Bafana Bafana midfielder Lebogang Phiri confirmed he might be on his way to Naturena.

However, right now the fans are concentrating on the Toyota Cup that will be played this weekend.
