    WHAT HAPPENED?

    Kaizer Chiefs' last competitive game was in the Carling Knockout quarter-final against Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday, November 2, a match Masandawana won 4-0.

    On Wednesday, the Glamour Boys host Richards Bay in the Premier Soccer League date to be staged at the FNB Stadium.

    However, they will be missing several key players owing to different reasons.

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

    Angola international defender Inacio Miguel is suspended.

    It is not yet clear whether goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari - who was injured during Rwanda's 2025 Afcon qualifier against Nigeria, is fit to play.

    South American Edson Castillo is out until next year while defender Bongani Sam and Edmilson Dove's return dates are unknown.

    In his pre-match interview, Nabi has revealed another injury.

    WHAT NABI SAID

    "The only injury concern we have right now is 'Mshini' [Nkosingiphile Ngcobo), who was coming back very well," the Tunisian stated.

    "He got injured [on Sunday] at training and we might do a test today, but it is very uncertain [that he will play on Wednesday]."

    WHAT NEXT?

    Ngcobo was on target as Chiefs beat Golden Arrows 2-0 in the Home of Legends Cup en route to the final where they beat Sundowns on penalties to be crowned.

    The 25-year-old has made three appearances this season, and will definitely be aiming at forcing his way into the Amakhosi starting team when he fully recovers.
