Kaizer Chiefs and Magesi FC will meet in the Premier Soccer League encounter on Tuesday at the FNB Stadium.

"Yeah, it is going to be a tough game; there is no doubt about it. Chiefs are a quality side. You don't know who they are going to play on the day," Da Gama said.

"They have so many players and so many quality players. So, it is going to be a very, very tough one, but we are going to go there and give a very good account of ourselves."

WHAT DA GAMA SAID ABOUT INJURIES

"Makhubu is a long-term injury; he is out for the season," Da Gama said.

"Chirambadare came back two weeks ago, and then in the second training session, he got another injury, but we are hoping to push him.

"There will be a big break after the 20th, we will go for a month without any matches because of other activities. We are just praying to have Chira back, and he will help us in this situation."

  • THE BIGGER PICTURE

Chiefs head into this match reeling from a disappointing loss to league leaders Mamelodi Sundowns at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Saturday in Tshwane.

In contrast, Magesi are heading to this clash filled with confidence after defeating Gavin Hunt's SuperSport in Seshego over the weekend.

The Soweto giants are vying for the Caf-Inter-club spot, while Dikwena Tsa Meetse are hoping to escape relegation.

  • WHAT NEXT?

It will be interesting to see who Nabi will rely on in the midfield to take Cele’s place in the Chiefs starting lineup.
