    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Chiefs fans are well known for their unforgiving reactions against players who have failed to deliver.

Striker Collins Mbesuma, who played for Mamelodi Sundowns, Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates, and some other top teams, has now warned the attacker against taking too long to score.

He argues that the supporters will see something in him once he gets the ball in the back of the net.

    WHAT MBESUMA SAID

"He must know that at Chiefs, as a striker, you don't have time to say you're still adapting...you need to hit the ground running or else the fans will always be on your case," he told Sowetan.

“He must deliver now. At Chiefs or Pirates, the fans don't give you time, and when they give you 45 minutes, that's too much.

"So, Silva must make sure he scores now, even though these are friendlies," Mbesuma concluded.
