'Kaizer Chiefs do not learn, and it will take them 10 years to win PSL! Khalil Ben Youssef and Cedric Kaze are traitors; Nasreddine Nabi will forever be loved, but Amakhosi and Manchester United are in the same WhatsApp group' - Fans

After a prolonged period of uncertainty, Kaizer Chiefs have finally confirmed they have parted ways with head coach Nasreddine Nabi.

The Tunisian has not been with the team since mid-September, when he confirmed that he was leaving the Glamour Boys. Although the coach had made his stance public, the club said it was dealing with the matter internally.

But Nabi's exit was a matter of when it would be confirmed, and eventually, the Naturena outfit said the former Young Africans head coach left on a mutual agreement.

His exit left his assistants, Khalil Ben Youssef and Cedric Kaze, in charge of the team until the end of the season.

After Nabi's departure was confirmed, GOAL takes a look at how the fans reacted.

    Chiefs in trouble

We're in trouble... I suppose management finally got their "yes men"...these chaps will take whatever; they just can't believe their luck to be coaching a team like Chiefs with little pedigree. Professor Nabi really tried to get things right ... he will forever be loved – SHUKRAN NABI

Kaizer Chiefs, with caretaker co-coaches until the end of the 2025/26 season, will miss out on the top 8 again. Watch this space. Reminds me of the 2002/03 season after Muhsin Ertuğral's sacking – Mark K. Twain

Chiefs, Man United in same group

The writing was on the wall for coach Nabi; as for the assistant coaching taking over, it means we will need luck to add anything to the trophy cabinet. Nabi knew how to bring the best out of the players. Man United and Chiefs are in the same WhatsApp group - TP LEKHEHLE
