There have been rumours surrounding the future of the South American who has been heavily linked with a move away to either Egypt or Brazil.

Mamelodi Sundowns have been benefiting from the exploits of their versatile attacker Lucas Ribeiro, who joined them just two seasons ago.

His impact has been so big that CAF Champions League winners Pyramids and Brazilian heavyweights have been heavily linked with him.

Rival fans were happy when he left Masandawana a couple of days ago, with speculations having it that he was out to finalise the deal with one of the suitors.

However, he is back with the Premier Soccer League champions ahead of the MTN8 game on Sunday against Richards Bay.
