Junior Khanye, ex-Kaizer Chiefs star, 2005Gallo

'Junior Khanye failed to win the Caf Champions League with Kaizer Chiefs & now he's after Orlando Pirates! Last time Amakhosi kids tasted Cup success, Nelson Mandela had just been sentenced to 27 years in prison' - Fans

Former Kaizer Chiefs attacker Junior Khanye recently claimed Al Ahly are better placed to successfully defend their Caf Champions League title.

This is even after Orlando Pirates' strong run in the ongoing edition, and Mamelodi Sundowns' hunger to win the second star.

Khanye argues the Egyptians are too experienced to let the continental crown slip through their fingers.

    Downs not worried at all

There are a lot of things people said Sundowns wouldn't do, but they have done them. Like when the season started, we were told we wouldn't even qualify to be in the top three in the Premier Soccer League. Where are we now? Must we be worried about what is being said now? I don't think so. We have the depth and every resource we need to continue being the best - David Debeta
