THE BIGGER PICTURE
Despite the lavish surroundings, The Sun reports that the wedding, dubbed the wedding of the year by Portuguese press, could be marred by heavy rain. However, the wedding is poised to last two days, with post-ceremony celebrations set to run into Sunday at a local country estate.
WHAT MATILDE MOURINHO SAID
Speaking on a podcast titled 'By Annabelle' about her celebrations, she said: “I am so happy at the idea of having all my friends and family together to celebrate in the same place. It’s non-negotiable that my friends and family are there. The day can be as perfect as you dream it can be, but if the people who you would want to share it with are not there, then it’s not worth it.”
