In-form TS Galaxy striker Dzenan Zajmovic issues a come-and-get me plea to Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates - 'Everybody wants to play for the title'

TS Galaxy striker Dzenan Zajmovic has revealed his desire to play for clubs that constantly challenge for titles.

If he decides to leave the Rockets, the 30-year-old has said that his destination will only be a club that has the potential of winning trophies.

Citing previous smooth moves made by players from the club, the striker has praised TS Galaxy chairman Tim Sukazi, saying he never lays roadblocks on anyone who wishes to transfer.

“I think the chairman has proven a lot of times that he doesn’t stand in anyone’s way. You can see now with Samukelo Kabini’s move to Molde FK and Thato Khiba to Stellenbosch FC a few months ago,” Zajmović told FARPost.

“So he constantly pushes his players to get the best out of themselves. We also have to be honest with ourselves and the goals for TS Galaxy in terms of what we can achieve," he added.

“Everybody wants to play for the title, and that’s the same case with me. I want to play for a title-winning team. So if I want to make a new big step, then it would have to be a club that plays for prizes," he concluded.

Zajmovic has been one of the standout stars for Galaxy since he joined before the current season began. He was signed on a free transfer after he left FK Radnik Surdulica of Serbia.

His move has so far looked good for him and the club, as he has scored 12 goals in all competitions for the Mpumalanga outfit. He has also provided three assists for Galaxy, who are fourth after 24 Premier Soccer League (PSL) games.

His clinical finishing has made him one of the eagerly followed strikers in the league. Zajmovic is also one of the stars who will surely be closely watched in the next transfer window.

Mamelodi Sundowns, the PSL defending champions, and Orlando Pirates, the Nedbank Cup reigning champions, are the clubs that have won top titles in recent campaigns.

They also finished above Galaxy last season, and those are the realistic sides that Zajmovic would like to sign for and win titles.

After falling to Marumo Gallants on Saturday, Zajmovic and his teammates now have their focus firmly on the next league game against Kaizer Chiefs.

On April 5, they will look to exploit Amakhosi's inconsistency to win and return to winning ways.
