Impressive Thembinkosi Lorch concedes Wydad Casablanca were no match against Manchester City in Club World Cup fixture - 'The level is too high'

The on-loan Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder shone against the English heavyweights in the global club competition.

WHAT HAPPENED?
Botola Pro League outfit Wydad Casablanca played Manchester City in the Club World Cup's Group G match, staged at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.
South Africans Cassius Mailula and Thembinkosi Lorch featured for the Moroccan side.
Goals from Phil Foden and Jeremy Doku helped the Citizens claim a 2-0 win.

While Mailula struggled to deliver, which led to his subbing after the first half, 'Nyoso' played 83 minutes.
The Mamelodi Sundowns attacker shone despite his teammates' struggles, creating scoring opportunities and shooting when he had a chance.
However, the 31-year-old has admitted the Citizens' level was way too high for Wydad.

Wydad AC have another challenge forthcoming against Serie A side Juventus on Sunday.
The Old Lady of Turin ran riot in their first game, beating Al Ain 5-0 to go top of the pool on goal difference.
