    WHAT HAPPENED?

Sipho Mbule recently joined Orlando Pirates after Mamelodi Sundowns opted against extending his contract.

    WHAT JOHNSON SAID

“Sipho Mbule just needs to ensure that he stays out of trouble with the club because of his history,” Johnson told KickOff.

“He needs to have a good pre-season, stay off social media, and concentrate on his game. He is a good player.

“Would I have signed him at Chiefs given the opportunity? When I was at Chiefs, there weren’t good reports about what Mbule was doing, so I wouldn’t have done it back then," the 66-year-old tactician added.

“But now that he has changed his mindset and Orlando Pirates have given him an opportunity, I only wish him the best."

The former Morocco defender says it is all bout how to look after the midfielder.

It is to be seen if he will be able to help Mbule stay out of trouble and fully focus on his game.
