Former Kaizer Chiefs star Keagan Dolly on target as ruthless TS Galaxy show no mercy against Vasco da Gama in Nedbank Cup Round of 32 encounter

TS Galaxy hammered ABC Motsepe League team Vasco da Gama with a score of 7-0 at the Mbombela Stadium on Wednesday evening and progressed to the Nedbank Cup Round of 16.

Reliable Galaxy striker Dzenan Zajmovic netted two goals within the first five minutes of the match before former Kaizer Chiefs captain Keagan Dolly extended the lead for the home team.

Seasoned midfielder Marks Munyai, forward Thokozani Sibanyoni, and the Bosnian-Croatian player Damir Sovsic also scored for Adnan Beganovic's team.

The draw for the Nedbank Cup Round of 16 had already taken place before the match between Galaxy and Da Gama.

A victory for the Premier Soccer League team secured them a matchup against National First Division team Durban City in the next round of the tournament.

Galaxy will need to quickly move on from their significant victory and focus on the PSL as they welcome Cape Town City on Sunday.
