Finally! Kaizer Chiefs represented as Hugo Broos confirms final Orlando Pirates-dominated Bafana Bafana squad for 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Nigeria

Bafana Bafana will be in action in the first weekend of September as coach Hugo Broos hopes to claim maximum points in Group C's 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

South Africa hope to complete a double against Lesotho on September 5 before facing Nigeria four days later.

Positive results in the games will surely seal a ticket for the national team to play in the competition for the first time since 2010.

There are not many surprises in Broos' team that will do the job for Bafana Bafana.

However, Kaizer Chiefs will be happy to have their Academy graduate, Mduduzi Shabalala, in the squad after impressive showings for Amakhosi.

It is a massive reward for the versatile midfielder who has been a regular for Nasreddine Nabi's team, currently joint top of the Premier Soccer League table with 10 points from four games.
