England stars Mary Earps & Alessia Russo link up with the likes of NBA legend Kevin Durant and USWNT icon Megan Rapinoe at Sportsbeach 2024 in Cannes

Lionesses duo Mary Earps and Alessio Russo have been spotted spending time with some major sporting superstars in France.

WHAT HAPPENED?
Earps and Russo have jetted off to France for Sports Beach 2024, a networking event that brings together athletes, businesses and brands. The two Lionesses were among a host of big names from across the world of sport to attend. Other household names present were NBA legend Kevin Durant, USWNT icon Rapinoe, Manchester United legend Eric Cantona, NFL superstars Travis and Jason Kelce, and DeAndre Hopkins.

WHAT EARPS SAID
Earps posted a selection of photos on Instagram with the post: "Sportsbeach 2024, you were a blast! A great time with great people."
THE BIGGER PICTURE
The Lionesses stars are enjoying some time off before England fixtures next month. Earps finished the season by lifting the FA Cup with Manchester United and is in talks with the club over an extension to her contract that is due to expire. Meanwhile, Russo will be hoping for more England goals after netting four in six games for the national team in 2024.

Earps and Russo will return to action in July with England in Euro 2025 qualifiers against the Republic of Ireland and Sweden. The 2024-25 Women's Super League season will start on the weekend of the 21-22 September 2024.
