  • WHAT HAPPENED?

Kaizer Chiefs are risking missing out on the 2025-26 MTN8 owing to their Premier Soccer League inconsistencies.

They are currently placed eighth on the table with 29 points from 23 league outings.

On Saturday, they will be playing fourth-placed TS Galaxy at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

The Glamour Boys failed to deliver the Carling Knockout, falling against Masandawana in the quarter-final phase.

They have a chance of avenging the loss on Sunday 13th against the Brazilians in the Nedbank Cup semi-final.

However, they might have to do without key players against the defending Premier Soccer League champions.

    TELL ME MORE

Ahead of the game against TS Galaxy, Chiefs have three players who have three yellow cards - Inacio Miguel, Mduduzi Shabalala, and Pule Mmodi.

If they get another booking on Saturday, they will miss the Nedbank Cup semi-final outing next week.

Both games are important since they might determine the club's ongoing campaign.

Coach Nabi will now have to make a hard decision on whether to risk the three players against the Rockets or bench them.
