Cristiano Ronaldo missed a last-gasp spot-kick as Al-Nassr crashed out of the King Cup of Champions, and has since spoken out on social media.
Al-Nassr suffered their first major setback in the Stefano Pioli era on Tuesday as they went down 1-0 against Al-Taawoun in a round-of-16 clash and crashed out of the King Cup of Champions. Waleed Al-Ahmed handed Al-Taawoun the lead in the 71st minute but Ronaldo had the golden opportunity to score a last-minute equaliser as his club were awarded a penalty.

The Portuguese star, who is known for his accuracy from the spot, shocked everyone as he blasted his kick over the crossbar, resulting in his team's elimination from the competition. After the game, the former Manchester United and Real Madrid player sent out a defiant message to his colleagues and Al-Nassr fans.
