    WHAT HAPPENED?

The Premier Soccer League outfit TS Galaxy had a good 2024/25 campaign, where they managed to finish fifth on the table.

One of the players who shone is the 21-year-old centre-back Khulumane Ndamane, who played 26 games.

He was solid and ensured the communication at the back was top-notch despite his tender age.

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Recently, Sundowns confirmed the exit of Rivaldo Coetzee after the expiry of his contract, and they are in the market for a replacement, considering the fact that Lucas Suarez will also return to his parent club after a six-month loan spell.

Orlando Pirates have recently released a few defenders - Innocent Maela, Paseka Mako, and Thabiso Monyane.

The duo is now hoping to sign Kaizer Chiefs product Ndamane, who is also a top target for Siyabonga Ngezana's FCSB.

His agent, Musa Sithebe, has confirmed the contact but confirmed nothing has been reached.

    WHAT NEXT?

Reports have it that the player and his representatives fancy a move to Europe as opposed to Sundowns and Orlando Pirates.

Regardless of the decision that will be reached, this is a massive opportunity for the youngster to grow and make his name.

It will also give the national team depth ahead of competitive assignments.
