Kaizer Chiefs made DStv Diski Challenge League history after beating AmaZulu 5-0 during a Sunday game.
Manqoba Ozoemena, Naledi Hlongwane, and Siphesihle Tati scored for the Naturena outfit.
Meanwhile, Chiefs were dominant from the word go, and in the sixth minute, they broke the deadlock. In-form Ozoemena scored by beating AmaZulu goalkeeper Erasmus Enrique to put the champions in the lead.
Chiefs doubled their lead in the 23rd minute, and again it was Ozoemena who scored. Enrique made a goalkeeping blunder and in that process gifted the Chiefs' star an opportunity to score again.
The Glamour Boys were as dominant in the second half as they were in the first, and by the 59th minute, they had their third goal. Ozoemena was brought down, and Hlongwane scored from the resultant penalty.
Chiefs scored the fourth goal in the 66th minute, with Ozoemena playing a crucial role again. He forced the Usuthu goalkeeper into a mistake, collected the ball, and passed it to Tati, who found the back of the net.
Ambitious visitors surely put the game beyond Usuthu's reach when Hlongwane scored after he precisely timed a free kick from Neo Bohloko in the 81st minute.
