    WHAT HAPPENED?

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Amakhosi started with a 2-0 win against Stellenbosch last Sunday before beating Rise and Shine by a solitary goal on Wednesday.

The two wins have put Chiefs on top of the table, with fans hoping this form will last the entire season.

Cedric Kaze has now revealed that, despite being away, coach Nasreddine Nabi is still in charge of the technical staff and has played a huge role in helping the team start the 2025/26 season well.

    WHAT KAZE SAID

"I’ll say that we are always in contact with the head coach. But he trusts our experience, he trusts our knowledge too,” he told the media.

“We are the people who are on the field every day, and the people who are on the field are those who feel the vibe.

"We see every day what is happening, the training sessions, who can do what, and who can do the different combinations as well," Kaze continued.

"He trusts us to make the line-up, but as the head coach, he’s also informed daily.

"Let’s just say that coach Nabi leads the technical staff, and it doesn’t matter who is on the line, and the only thing I will just say is that Kaizer Chiefs is winning, and that’s the most important thing,” he concluded.
