    WHAT HAPPENED?

    Amajita's head coach, Raymond Mdaka, has received a huge boost after a Belgian top-flight side, Club Brugge, agreed to release goalscoring machine Shandre Campbell for South Africa's U20 World Cup matches. 

    Mdaka has already named his preliminary squad, with Campbell among the players summoned. However, questions remained on whether the Belgian giants were going to release him.

    Club Brugge refused to release the forward for the U20 African Cup of Nations finals, which South Africa went on to win.

    His presence in the World Cup squad is expected to be a boost for Mdaka, given Campbell's goalscoring ability.

    WHAT NEXT FOR AMAJITA?

    After conquering Africa, the South African national junior side is now firmly focusing their attention on their upcoming global campaign. 

    They are in Group E alongside New Caledonia, the USA, and France. The tournament will start later this month.

    Meanwhile, South Africa's eligible star Ayanda Sishuba has signed for French Ligue 2 club Montpellier HSC on loan from Ligue 1 side Stade Rennais. 

    "Looking for an additional element to strengthen its attacking sector, MHSC has registered the arrival of young attacking midfielder Ayanda Sishuba," the French club announced.

    Sishuba, a Belgian youth international, is eligible to play for South Africa through his father, Asanda Sishuba. The former Royal Antwerp star was given a number of Bafana call-ups, but he did not play for the COSAFA nation.
