Barcelona dealt blow in Dani Olmo pursuit with RB Leipzig holding firm on demands for Euro 2024 star
RB Leipzig have informed Barcelona that they will not let Dani Olmo leave unless their demand of €60m (£53m/$65m) is met.

WHAT HAPPENED?
The attacking midfielder, who had a terrific outing with Spain at Euro 2024, has been linked with a move to Barcelona this summer. However, the Catalan giants are yet to seal a move for the player despite bidding twice for him with his current club RB Leipzig.

The Blaugrana reportedly placed an initial bid of €40 million (£34m/$44m) plus an additional €20m (£17m/$22m) in variables which was promptly turned down by the Germans which forced them to come up with a second offer of €47m (£40m/$51m) fixed, plus €3m (£2.5m/$3m) based on the player’s game appearances, and an additional €10m (£8.5m/$11m) in potential bonuses for future titles. However, Sport now reports that the Bundesliga side is unwilling to let their star player leave unless their demand of €60m (£53m/$65m) is met.
