    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Coach Hugo Broos has already been forced to make changes to his squad owing to unforeseen circumstances.

Kaizer Chiefs' versatile attacker, Mduduzi Shabalala, was called up to cover for the injured Relebohile Mofokeng, who suffered the unfortunate incident last weekend during the Carling Knockout.

On Tuesday, Bafana Bafana have confirmed another major update where last season's Premier Soccer League's second top scorer has been sent back to Mamelodi Sundowns.

  • WHO IS OUT?

Iqraam Rayners out of South Africa's squad, Makgopa replaces him.

    WHAT NEXT?

Coach Broos is surely hoping no other player will be forced out due to injuries since the two games are crucial for Bafana Bafana.

South Africa are currently second on the table after being sanctioned by FIFA, and need to get maximum points and hope Benin, who are at the top, slip.
