    WHAT HAPPENED?

Kaizer Chiefs are set to host Sekhukhune United at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Sunday.

Amakhosi will have to do without their head coach Nasreddine Nabi who was shown a straight red card in the 1-0 loss against Golden Arrows.

The Glamour Boys have now confirmed Khalil Ben Youssef will take over from the Tunisian against Babina Noko.

  • WHAT CHIEFS SAID

"Kaizer Chiefs will be in Durban for their third and final Betway Premiership home game of the current season to be hosted in Surf City when they welcome Sekhukhune United to the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Sunday afternoon," the club confirmed through its media team.

"With Coach Nasreddine Nabi having been shown a red card in the tunnel after the end of the last match, assistant coach Khalil Ben Youssef will lead Amakhosi’s technical team on the bench."

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Despite standing in for Nabi, Khalil Ben Youssef has to be cautious since he already has two yellow cards.

The Amakhosi assistant coach is just two yellow cards away from suspension meaning he can't afford to get them in the next two games - against Sekhukhune United and Free Agents.

Nabi will miss the aforementioned assignments but will make his return on February 1 in the Soweto Derby against old rivals Orlando Pirates at the FNB Stadium.

    WHAT NEXT?

Chiefs have already lost two out of the three Premier Soccer League matches played this year.

A win against third-placed Sekhukhune United will be a confidence booster for the Soweto giants.
