Alisha Lehmann reflects on 'amazing' Brazil Football Foundation event she attended with boyfriend and fellow Aston Villa star Douglas Luiz

The couple were the stars at the glitzy do on Monday evening, posing for photos with fellow guests and foundation organisers and dancing the night away to some Brazilian beats. Highlights of the night were posted to social media by Lehmann, who paid tribute to those she met.

"What an amazing event," posted Lehmann to her vast Instagram following. "So many inspiring and great people changing the world."

Villa's glamour couple reunited earlier this year after a break of a year and have been increasingly public about their reunion. The pair are opting to use their spare time to support a charity that oversees projects in Douglas Luiz's native Brazil is yet another sign that the relationship is right back on track.

Douglas Luiz will return to action after his league suspension when the Villans travel to Lille on Thursday looking to secure a place in the Europa Conference League semi-finals.

Lehmann takes another trip to London as her Villa women's side take on title-chasing Chelsea at Kingsmeadow on Wednesday evening.
