    Head-to-head and recent form

Nigeria are fresh from last week's 2-0 victory over Rwanda away and it was their first victory in these qualifiers.

The Super Eagles would be out to build on that win as they seek to climb from position four on the table as they have a chance to go second although that depends on how Rwanda and Benin fare in their respective games.

They face Zimbabwe who are still winless in this campaign and anchor the standings with just three points.

The Warriors have never beaten Nigeria in any competitive match before, with the Super Eagles winning four of the two teams' six meetings while the other two games ended in draws.
