Harry Kane claims 'rapid' Kyle Walker is faster than Kylian Mbappe as Bayern Munich & England striker plays Front Three quiz challenges

England captain Harry Kane is adamant that Kyle Walker, his team-mate at international level and during their time together at Tottenham, is quicker than PSG sensation Kylian Mbappe.

Taking part in a series of quiz challenges against Front Three's Yarns, Bayern Munich striker Kane proved his ball knowledge in Football Tic Tac Toe, Football Cap, Stay Quiet and Rate The Players. In association with STATSports, here's how it all went down!

Football Tic Tac Toe

A Front Three staple, the Football Tic Tac Toe board featured Tottenham, Arsenal and a captain's armband along the top, with Dortmund, Bayern Munich and England down the side.

The game requires participants to match up a player with one horizontal square and one of the three that run across the top of the board. Following the Tic Tac Toe format, you win the game by achieving three squares in a row.

Kane kicked things off by naming one of his former Spurs team-mates, with Harry Winks having played for the north Londoners and England.

He followed up with shouts of Steven Pienaar, who played for Dortmund and Tottenham during his career, Philipp Lahm, who captained Bayern for years during the club's domination of Bundesliga in the noughties and beyond, and Kieran Gibbs, who turned out for Arsenal and won 10 caps for the Three Lions.

The Bayern star completed a row to win the game by naming Scott Parker, who captained England once during his playing career, with the Bayern forward avoiding taking the easy way out and picking himself to ensure he had the edge over Yarns!

Football Cap

Moving onto Football Cap, both players were asked to reveal how many England strikers they believed they could name in the space of just 28 seconds.

With Yarns saying 11, Spurs legend Kane set himself the ambitious target of 14. Unfortunately for the 30-year-old, he couldn't beat the clock, with Kane naming 11 ex-England forwards.

The names he came up with included: Harry Kane, Tammy Abraham, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Ollie Watkins, Alan Shearer, Andrew Cole, Michael Owen, Ivan Toney, Wayne Rooney, Gary Lineker and 1966 World Cup winners Bobby Charlton and Geoff Hurst.

Stay Quiet

The football version of Stay Quiet required Kane to not say anything while various player names were read out to him, only speaking up when he heard a player referenced that he believes is faster than Mbappe.

Jack Grealish, Bukayo Saka, Darwin Nunez and Erling Haaland were all mentioned, with Kane not even flinching, before Walker was read out, with the Bayern No.9 then intervening.

Revealing why he spoke out at that point, the prolific Bundesliga golden boot winner said: "Walks is rapid. Mbappe's real quick off the mark and then he can hold it but I think Kyle's the fastest.

"To be fair, even though we're always joking about speed, because obviously he's miles faster than me, but I'm just always on him. I could run backwards and he'd still beat me in a race."

Rate The Players

For the final segment of the quiz showdown, Kane and Yarns had to rank the top three for who was the fastest player in their prime, featuring Adama Traore, Gareth Bale and Mbappe.

Despite there only being three plays to choose from, the lists were completely different. Indeed, Kane opted for Adama at No.1, Mbappe in second spot and Bale as his third pick.

Yarns, meanwhile, went for Bale as his first selection, followed by Adama and then Mbappe.

The argument for the Fulham winger being Kane's first choice? The Three Lions skipper said: "You can't catch him because of that (the baby oil he has on his skin during matches), you can't grab him. I've played against him and just clips I've seen of him, he's next-level fast."
