Gareth Southgate is scouting Leicester City winger Harvey Barnes ahead of Euro 2020, reports <a href="https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2020/02/11/leicester-winger-harvey-barnes-gareth-southgates-radar-england/">the Mirror</a>. Southgate is considering a call-up for Barnes ahead of next month's friendlies against Italy and Denmark. With Raheem Sterling, Harry Kane and Marcus Rashford battling injuries, Barnes, Danny Ings and Jack Grealish are players Southgate believes could step up into the squad.

FC Dallas has loaned defender Callum Montgomery to San Antonio FC, <a href="https://www.fcdallas.com/post/2020/02/11/fc-dallas-loans-callum-montgomery-san-antonio-fc">the club announced</a>. Montgomery was selected fourth overall in the 2019 MLS Draft and started in 22 matches on loan with North Texas SC last season. FC Dallas has the right to recall Montgomery at any point this season.

MLS side Montreal Impact have announced the signing of Emanuel Maciel&nbsp;on a free transfer. The 22-year-old midfielder joins from Argentine outfit San Lorenzo as the two sides have worked out a strategic relationship that will likely see more players make the move to Montreal.

Shane Long is expected to sign a new contract at Southampton after Danny Ings encouraged the club to offer him an extension. The 23-year-old has impressed with Sassuolo since moving to Italy in 2018, scoring seven times in 22 appearances in Serie A.
