Huddersfield Town vs Arsenal Betting Tips: Latest odds, team news, preview and predictions

Arsenal are aiming to banish their away-day blues at John Smith's Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The Gunners have won just one of their last seven matches on the road - against Blackpool in the FA Cup third round -  but Unai Emery's men will be confident of heaping yet more misery upon Huddersfield Town this weekend.

Jan Siewert's Terriers have lost 12 of their last 13 matches and are cut adrift at the bottom of the Premier League table, 13 points from safety and seem destined for the drop at the end of the season.

Latest odds

It is little surprise, then, that the Gunners are chalked up as a 4/7 (1.57) chance to beat the Terriers.

William Hill go 24/5 (5.80) that Huddersfield come out on top. The same firm offer 16/5 (4.20) that both sides settle for a share of the spoils in West Yorkshire.

Team news

Abdelhamid Sabiri and Danny Williams remain sidelined for the hosts.

Rob Holding, Danny Welbeck, Hector Bellerin and Sokratis Papastathopoulos are all out for the Gunners but Denis Suarez, on loan from Barcelona, could start his first match for Arsenal.

Toothless Terriers

Huddersfield have failed to find the net in each of their last five fixtures and William Hill offer 5/4 (2.25) that Siewert's side again draw a blank when Emery's men visit John Smith's Stadium.

The odds compilers go 6/4 (2.50) that Arsenal win without conceding in West Yorkshire; Arsenal's last away clean sheet in the Premier League came at this venue on the final day of last season.

On that occasion, Arsenal ran out as 1-0 winners. Emery's men also edged to 1-0 victory against the Terriers in December and a repeat is priced at 6/1 (7.0).

Prediction

Arsenal are in pursuit of Champions League qualification and the Gunners are capable of humbling Huddersfield this weekend.

The Terriers have conceded nine goals without reply in their last three matches and Arsenal are, undoubtedly, at their best when they are on the front foot.

William Hill go 7/5 (2.40) that the Gunners win by at least two clear goals in West Yorkshire, a selection that would have landed in four of Arsenal's last five victories in all competitions.
