Lioness Chloe Kelly celebrates wedding with England team-mates Ella Toone and Mary Earps as photos emerge from Man City star's 'special day'

The celebration comes a little later as it was reported that Kelly had tied the knot with her long-term boyfriend, Scott Moore, earlier in July. Moore proposed to Kelly during a magical winter trip in December 2023 under the mesmerising northern lights, making the moment unforgettable. Kelly shared the joyous news on social media, posting a series of photos showcasing her engagement ring against the backdrop of the aurora borealis.

The couple found their dream venue, Merrydale Manor, shortly after the New Year. Kelly embraced the role of wedding planner with enthusiasm, taking charge to ensure every detail was perfect.

According to Vogue, her wedding attire was nothing short of spectacular. She wore a stunning dress by Galia Lahav, complemented by a matching veil from the same designer. Her shoes, chosen with careful consideration to avoid overshadowing Scott's height, were elegant Jimmy Choo heels. To complete her look, she opted for jewellery from Bucherer, a brand she frequently wears for events.

Kelly shared a carousel of pictures from the vent and captioned it: "To forever with you".

Their romance, however, almost didn't happen. In an interview with Vogue,Kelly reminisced about their initial encounter, which could have easily gone unnoticed.

"Scott was working as a groundsman at Everton while I was playing there," she said. "One day, I held the door for him, and ever since that day, he kept saying he was going to message me. When he did slide into my DMs, I didn’t see it for ages because it was in my requests folder. When I finally saw it, I thought: ‘Who is this?’ But after seeing mutual friends following him, I realised I must know him!"

Kelly's approach to her bridal makeup was to keep it natural, aligning with her everyday style. She enlisted the expertise of her makeup artist, Selina, who crafted a look that included subtle enhancements and lash extensions. For her hairstyle, Michael, her trusted hairdresser, offered various options. Initially deciding on an updo, Chloe eventually chose to let her hair flow, adding to the overall elegance of her appearance.

With her England team-mates, Toone and Earps by her side, the wedding was a celebration of love, and friendship, which marked the beginning of a new chapter for Kelly and Moore.

"Looking back on it, it was a proud moment for us both that we did it all ourselves," she said. "I joked to the registrar I’m glad I’m never doing it again though, it was so nerve-wracking before the ceremony!"

Kelly can afford a few more days off the grind to settle her nerves as City will play their first pre-season friendly against Leicester on August 28.
