    The Brazil international midfielder is seeing questions asked of his future at St James’ Park as the Magpies battle to comply with the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR). Sales may be required in order to tick those boxes, with Bruno of obvious appeal to rivals across Europe.

    According to The Mirror, big-spending Ligue 1 giants PSG have the South American playmaker in their sights. Initial contact from the French capital is said to have been made, with talks taking place with Bruno’s advisors.

    Real Madrid are also said to be admirers of the classy 26-year-old, but he will not come cheap if there is a deal to be done. After joining Newcastle from Lyon for £34m ($43m) in January 2022, Bruno has since committed to a new contract that includes a nine-figure release clause.
