A brace from Michael Olise and goals from Jean-Philippe Mateta and Tyrick Mitchell condemned United to their heaviest Premier League defeat of the season. The 4-0 loss at Selhurst Park marked a significant setback for the Red Devils in their pursuit of European football for next season since they find themselves two points behind sixth-place Newcastle United with three games to go.

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

After the dust had settled on the pitch, Antony was seen engrossed in discussion with Mount and Onana as he seemed unhappy with something that had transpired in the match. The Brazilian kept whispering to Mount, covering his mouth, which irked Carragher and the Liverpool legend lambasted the winger for the lack of professionalism after the defeat.

  • WHAT CARRAGHER SAID

While working as a pundit with Sky Sports, Carragher said: "Just get off the pitch! Talking and whispering behind your hand, you have been absolutely awful. They are probably talking about one of the players, somebody else, the setup or the manager. Just get off the pitch. Shut up and get in, you've been beaten 4-0. Whispering and talking about other players. Honestly...embarrassing."
