Embarrassing dad! David Beckham leaves son Romeo cringing with giant cake to celebrate 22nd birthday – with Las Vegas trip enjoyed after deciding against chasing Premier League football dream

The Beckham family – with Victoria, Cruz and Harper also in attendance – have headed to Las Vegas in order to celebrate Romeo turning 22. There have been plenty of festivities, including a visit to a Sin City restaurant for a swanky meal.

It was there that Romeo was presented with his lavish cake – which featured four tiers and its own set of fireworks on the top. Beckham junior was far from delighted at finding himself the centre of attention – as other diners watched on – and briefly held his head in his hands before eventually forcing a smile.

Romeo has decided to end his bid to become a Premier League footballer – like his famous dad once was. He has severed ties with Brentford and will instead by treading a similar path to his former Spice Girls star mother as a move into fashion is made.

David Beckham, meanwhile, has been enjoying a break from his day job as a co-owner at Inter Miami. He has seen the Herons book an MLS play-off spot for 2024, with eight-time Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi preparing to step back into their team after injury.
