  • WHAT HAPPENED?

Lehmann's Streets United drew 2-2 with the Gonrgry Allstars in the event in Cologne, which saw her lose her perfect record as a manager after starting with two successive wins. But the Swiss international was still in good spirits as she chatted with local hero and joint Streets manager Lukas Podolski - who founded the competition alongside Mats Hummels.

  • THE BIGGER PICTURE

The Baller League was launched last month with the vision of "unpredictable, real and technical football – without politics. Without tactics. Can be experienced free of charge for fans. A game for all football fans, but also for all those who have not yet been."

World Cup winners Podolski and Hummels have thrown their weight behind the project, which seeks to emulate some of the success of Gerard Pique's Kings League in Spain.
