KL and Terengganu now need to race against time to obtain their M-League competition licenses, in order to compete in the 2018 Super League.

Only 1,347 fans turned up to the match that saw Kuala Lumpur promoted to the Super League, although the match had been made a free-entrance event.

Kuala Lumpur boss Fábio Magrão said that he feels at home in Malaysia, after guiding his side to Super League promotion with a win on Tuesday.

In the end, the top two Malaysia Premier League sides; Kuala Lumpur and Terengganu left no room for last-minute drama on matchday 21.

The two Premier League sides can secure their return to the top tier on the penultimate matchday, even if they lose their respective matches tonight.
