    WHAT HAPPENED?

TS Galaxy head coach, Adnan Beganovic, has delivered his assessment on former Kaizer Chiefs star Keagan Dolly following his debut.

The 31-year-old midfielder joined the Rockets on a free transfer earlier this month, having been without a club for five months since leaving Amakhosi.

Dolly graced Galaxy's match against Sekhukhune United in Polokwane on Tuesday to mark his debut for the club.

Beganovic, who took over the Rockets' head coaching reins following Sead Ramovic's departure, is optimistic that the signing of Dolly will bring positive results.

    WHAT WAS SAID

"First of all, Dolly is an amazing human being and an amazing football player with the skills one needs to be a special player," Beganovic told the media.

"But he needs time to get fit and be able to play 90 minutes. However, I think in the future he will help us a lot.

"He is not far away from starting games. But we need players like him, he knows how to play. For now, it is just that he doesn't have fitness."

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Dolly made a 20-minute appearance off the bench for Galaxy on Tuesday, and Beganovic appears convinced that he has the potential to contribute significantly to the team in the future.

Galaxy's season began quite poorly under Ramovic, with four losses and two draws before they managed to secure their first victory against Babina Noko.

The recruitment of the talented Westbury resident has the potential to greatly influence the team owned by Tim Sukazi, given his exceptional abilities and knack for making things happen.

    WHAT NEXT?

Dolly will be committed to enhancing his fitness level and showing his appreciation to Galaxy for their faith in him. Moreover, he will be looking forward to a season without any injuries.

The 2019 Nedbank Cup champions are set to take on Polokwane City this Sunday, December 1st, in a PSL match at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.
