"Yes, I was aware, what you don't know, is that Sead announced his resignation to the team in the changing room after our game against Magesi on Sunday. He said Wednesday would be his last game," Sukazi told Metro FM Sport.
"Then we met on Monday, and we went through whatever we wanted to go through and discuss. We went to the game against Stellenbosch knowing that he had resigned, it was his last game.
"I was not in the change room when he announced it to the players, I heard it later and then on Monday, we sat down for a three-hour meeting.
“I think it was in the heat of the moment (that he decided to resign), a lot of emotions because obviously, we lost matches, but he was not hiding anything, he and I are very close.”
