Belgian-Bosnian striker Dzenan Zajmovic opened the scoring for the Rockets merely eight minutes into the match, before seasoned forward Victor Letsoalo increased the advantage in the 45th minute.

Nonetheless, Sedwyn George scored Thwihli Thwahla's goal from the penalty spot just seven minutes after the second half commenced. However, Sphiwe Mahlangu sealed the Mpumalanga-based outfit's victory by netting his club's third goal via a penalty in the 66th minute.

The Rockets are now in 10th place while the KwaZulu-Natal side sit in position 14.

AmaZulu claimed crucial three points after a narrow 1-0 win against struggling Cape Town City in the Mother City.

Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Hendrick Ekstein netted the only goal of the match to guarantee that Usuthu secured maximum points.

The KwaZulu-Natal team, led by Arthur Zwane and Vusumuzi Vilakazi, climbed up to 11th position in the PSL standings, while the Citizens remain in 12th spot.
