Oswin Appollis: Orlando Pirates sign Polokwane City and Bafana Bafana winger who is ex-Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns transfer target

Orlando Pirates have finished second in the Premier Soccer League season for three consecutive seasons.

Last season, they reached the semi-final of the Caf Champions League before narrowly falling to eventual champions Pyramids FC.

It seems they are keen to go all the way this season, having confirmed the arrival of nine new players ahead of the new 2025/26 season.

In his bid to have enough depth, new coach Abdeslam Ouaddou has added Bafana Bafana and Polokwane City attacker Oswin Appollis.

The 23-year-old played 25 matches for Rise and Shine last season, scoring two goals and providing an assist in the process.
