    WHAT HAPPENED?

After their embarrassing 10th-place finish in the Premier Soccer League last season, coach Nasreddine Nabi was brought in to change the situation.

However, things have not gone as anticipated owing to the failure to sign quality players, especially in the offensive department, in the summer transfer window.

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Chiefs failed to get past the quarter-final phase in the Carling Knockout after falling to eventual finalists Mamelodi Sundowns.

In the Premier Soccer League, Amakhosi are sixth with 18 points after 13 matches from which they have managed just five wins, as many losses, and three draws.

It explains why Wandile Duba has revealed Amakhosi are out of the race for the PSL title, but are ready to give their best in the Nedbank Cup.
