    WHAT HAPPENED?

Orlando Pirates' chances to win the Premier Soccer League title suffered a massive blow after a 1-0 loss against Sekhukhune United on Wednesday night at the Orlando Stadium.

It became even worse for the Soweto giants as captain Nkosinathi Sibisi was sent off after a second bookable offence.

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Sibisi has been one of the club's key players in the almost-ending season.

However, the sending-off, for sure, has spoiled Jose Riveiro's plans in the forthcoming back-to-back Soweto derbies.

Bucs play Kaizer Chiefs in the Premier Soccer League on Saturday, May 3, before meeting them once again in the Nedbank Cup final seven days later.

Riveiro believes others will step up to cover for his skipper.

    WHAT RIVEIRO SAID

“You are right he’s not there, but there’s somebody who is going to be there," the tactician told the media.

"We going to play with eleven, we have very good players ready to go, so we're going to miss Sibisi like everybody else, but somebody will be ready to fill the space, we will be ready for Saturday," Riveiro concluded.

    WHAT NEXT?

Riveiro will most probably use Tapelo Xoki and teenager Mbekezeli Mbokazi in the two Soweto derbies.

The duo has to rise up for the occassion and ensure the season ends on a high.
