    THE BIGGER PICTURE

After an inconsistent start at the club, it seems Mokwena is finally getting it right.

The Red Castle are now unbeaten in their last five games across all competitions. Encouragingly, they are currently sitting third on the table which is a boost in their bid to return to Caf competitions next season.

Mokwena is not overly carried away with the recent win, insisting Wydad Casablanca are a big team and deserve the best.

    WHAT MOKWENA SAID

“Botola is very, very difficult the level of the teams is very close and there is no real stand-out team in the championship,” the former Sundowns coach conceded.

“But I’m happy that as a club we show a lot of humility. We understand where we are and that’s very important. Part of being a good leader is understanding the direction and understanding the direction means understanding where you are in the present moment and where we are in the present moment.

"It’s for the first time in a year we do back-to-back wins. It’s the first time as a club we win two matches in a row in one year and that’s very important that we welcome this barrier and this milestone.

"So, these small little wins along the way help to give us confidence again to resurrect the club but we have to stay very humble. Humble and focused because it’s a very long way," Mokwena continued.

"This club deserves to be a big club, it is a big club by history by prestige by the fans, there ares huge expectations."
