"In the second half, Palmeiras relied on a high-pressing style and succeeded in scoring the first goal," said Mido as per KickOff.
"However, the Al Ahly coach's lack of experience in managing the match was evident, as he was swayed by his opponent's style and lost control of the game. He lacked a clear vision of the field.
"Despite the possession, the team did not pose any real threat to the goal, and the performance was lacklustre offensively.
"Al-Ahly is supposed to be the strongest team in Egypt, and they were expected to appear stronger and more consistent, even in the event of a loss," added the former Ajax Amsterdam star.
"The players did not give their all, without exception. Everyone was extremely weak. What is unfortunate is that the players did not show the minimum basics of football on the field. I am very sad about this performance."
