    WHAT HAPPENED?

Kaizer Chiefs appointed coach Nasreddine Nabi to help the Glamour Boys get back their lost glory.

In the ongoing campaign, Amakhosi have not delivered as expected and are currently seventh on the table with 15 points.

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

The Soweto giants have disappointed on numerous occasions under Nabi.

In the 11 games played, they have four wins, as many losses, and three draws. The Glamour Boys have 15 points less than leaders Mamelodi Sundowns who have won 10 out of the 11 league outings.

Critics feel Nabi has failed to deliver, but goalkeeper Bruce Bvuma is not buying that.

The custodian believes the former AS FAR Rabat tactician has improved the team.

    WHAT BVUMA SAID

“We are definitely making progress under coach Nabi in terms of how we are playing," the shot-stopper told the media.

"You can see that we have improved a lot than the previous seasons. We are playing well, and as a team, we are doing well. It’s just that the results are not coming our way.

"We are getting inconsistent in terms of getting the results.  But that doesn’t mean that there is no progress; I believe there is a lot of progress. We just have to get the results going forward," Bvuma concluded.

    WHAT NEXT?

After struggles by Fiacre Ntwari and Brandon Petersen, it seems Bvuma has won Nabi's trust as the team's first-choice keeper.

However, he will need to stay consistent to avoid losing his place to competitors.
